El Mercat de Marxants de Molins de Rei, també anomenat dels Encants, té lloc els divendres i acull un total de 75 parades que comercialitzen diversos productes quotidians no alimentaris com: roba d’home, roba de dona, pijames, roba infantil, calçat, tovalloles, bijuteria, etc. amb la clara vocació de servir de complement a l’oferta del potent teixit comercial de la vila.
Com a conseqüència del gran pes del teixit comercial de la nostra vila i de l’aposta estratègica de Molins de Rei pel que fa a l’oferta comercial, en els Encants hi trobem un clar predomini del sector del tèxtil, seguit del d’equipaments a la persona i, en tercer lloc, els equipaments per a la llar.
D’aquesta manera, els Encants de Molins de Rei conformen un mixt comercial perfectament complementari a l’oferta del centre urbà de Molins de Rei, amb el Mercat Municipal i comerços tradicionals al capdavant, fet que ajuda a crear un elevat dinamisme comercial, agrupat a l’entorn de la marca “Molins de Rei Centre de Comerç”.
L’estratègica ubicació de Molins de Rei i la facilitat per arribar-hi tant en transport públic com en transport privat, juntament amb la clara aposta pel comerç urbà i de passejada que la vila ha fet en tot moment, tot plegat comporta que els Encants tinguin una considerable capacitat d’atracció de clients forans, d’àmbit comarcal.
